Weekly Food Prep

Life is busy! It’s extremely hard to eat a healthy and balanced diet without some (or a lot!) planning. I find that planning out the week is the easiest way to ensure that I eat healthily throughout the week. This includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. I will be posting my weekly meal plan every week so you can follow it too.

Planning your week also ensures that you have enough food to last the week without buying more than you have to.

My go-to snacks:
– trail mix (you can either make it yourself or buy it pre-made)
– fruit, I usually buy whatever is in season or bananas in the winter
– veggies and dip, I pre-cut the veggies to make them more accessible

Recently, I started posting on my fridge door what snacks you can find inside. Having healthy snack options laid out reduces the chances of eating whatever you see first when you open the door. This also helps when I am packing my lunch I just put some of the snack in a container and I’m ready to go!
