In a month, Callum and I and Lucy the dog are all moving into our camper van full time for the winter. That’s a lot of time in a confined space with our running clothes and multiple pairs of shoes. Callum and I have big plans of running and hiking every day but that also means a lot of smelly clothes.

When I saw the opportunity to test the 2Toms Stink Free Spray, I jumped on it because I’m going to need all the help I can get with smelly running clothes! While I was testing the spray, we went away in the van for a weekend and I also ran at lunch multiple times. I thought these would be good trials because in both situations I don’t have access to laundry or a shower.

After I was done running, I would just spray the smelly clothes and shoes and wait for everything to dry. I found that getting rid of smelly shoes is really where this spray does best and we have a lot of smelly shoes! I also used it on my clothes and it definitely reduces the smell but it is no replacement for clean clothes. Although any spray that could be a replacement for washing would be a miracle spray!

I think the reality for most runners is that running is time consuming and some days, runs just have to be squeezed in whenever you have time. On days like that, where you might not be able to shower after and you don’t want to stink up your office/car, the stink free spray is fantastic. It’s convenient, it’s portable and it’s easy to use.

This was the perfect timing for me to test out this spray it is at the top of my list for packing for the van trip now!

What do you do when you run but can’t shower until later?

Happy running!
