Believe it or not, Christmas is approaching quickly! There have been a lot of holiday shopping guides going around so I decided to jump on the bandwagon and do one too.
I have tried to come up with things that I would love to get that might not always be so obvious.
Gels – If someone on your shopping list runs a lot chances are that they use gels and while they are around $2 each, that adds up if you use them a lot. It’s a great stocking stuffer! I like Clif and Hammer gels.
Coffee shop gift card – If you know someone who is planning to do winter training, there’s nothing better than finishing a long run with a hot beverage and it’s great if that drink is already paid for.
Hat and/or gloves – Both items are necessary for the cold weather and when you start running a lot, you never seen to have enough of them. I have a lighter Nike hat for warmer winter days and a fleece-lined wind resistant one from the Running Room for when it’s really cold. I haven’t found any gloves that work really well for cold weather but I’ve looking at these North Face mitts!
Tights – The weather is getting colder and bare legs less acceptable so it’s a great time to get some new running tights! 2XU makes awesome thermal tights that I’m sure everyone would love to get.
Race registration – Unfortunately, race registrations are extremely expensive and add up fast. Does someone on your shopping list do the same run every year but they haven’t signed up yet this year? Sign them up!
Hydration pack – This is more of a gift for a serious runner and it can get expensive pretty quickly but there are lots of great options. I’ve been eyeing a new Salomon one for quite a while.
What’re you hoping for this Christmas? Any additions to this list that I missed?
